Oasis at the Lotos Club

We recently had the honor of creating a one-of-a-kind  mural for The Lotos Club—one of the oldest literary clubs in the U.S. Known for its storied history and refined interiors. The Club wanted a mural that was inspired by their  original artwork they had dating all the way back to 1870, wanting a piece that felt timeless and immersive, without overwhelming the space.

The vision: a nature-inspired scene filled with northeastern lakeside wildlife. The goal was not just decoration, but atmosphere—a mural that would evoke calm, subtle movement, and connection to the landscape.

Working closely with the Club’s team, our graphic designers helped lay out the initial concept. Every section of this formal gathering room was considered: corners, mirror reflections, cameras, lighting—ensuring the finished work would feel like a seamless extension of the space’s architecture and heritage.

Once the layout was finalized, artists Fernando and Chris spent several days hand-painting the mural on site. Every tree, heron, duck, and shadowed grove was created with care, echoing classical styles while keeping the tone muted and elegant. The sepia-inspired palette ensures the artwork supports the room’s ambience rather than stealing focus from it.

At Painted Pieces, we believe murals should be immersive, not intrusive. This project embodies that balance elevating the room’s existing charm with a quiet narrative presence.

We’re grateful to the Lotos Club for trusting us with such a meaningful project, and proud to contribute a layer of living artistry to a place steeped in history.

Tradition Matters w/ E-J Electric

We recently had the privilege of collaborating with E&J Electric as they celebrated an impressive 125 years in business. For a company like E&J, steeped in legacy and tradition, it was essential to find a meaningful way to commemorate their journey. That's where we came in, recreating an iconic photo from their past in the form of a timeless oil painting.

Led by our talented artist, Naruki, every detail was meticulously crafted, and  color was added to bring out the nostalgia and significance of that era. Step by step.

At Painted Pieces, our mission is to deliver top-notch art and design that transforms any space, be it a home or a corporate office. We take pride in our work, and we understand the importance of creating art that resonates with our clients.
